In the fall of 2024, Molly was selected for JILCS’s Volume 2 publication for her article Adoption: The Commodification of Children and the International Implications. Her article discusses and compares the regulations of the adoption process amongst different countries.
Molly is deeply passionate about public service and actively contributes to Nova’s Public Interest Law Department where she serves as a Graduate Assistant. In this role, Molly has the opportunity to work directly with students and attorneys to provide their services to community members. Most recently, Molly assisted with the production of Nova’s Public Interest Law Day which hosted over forty-five federal, state, and local public service organizations. This event connects students with public service organizations throughout the state so that they can gain first-hand experience by providing services to the community.
As a part of Molly’s last semester at Nova, she is partaking in the Civil Field Placement course. This experience led her to our door! Molly is our current Legal Intern for the duration of her last semester of law school. In this role, Molly has conducted legal research and prepared legal memoranda for our attorneys, aided in drafting legal documents, and has been able to contribute to discussions on current environmental and land use cases in the office. We are happy to have her in our office and look forward to seeing what she does next!
Outside of school and the office, Molly loves spending time with her two rescue pups, Mabel and Bentley, who are big bundles of energy! Molly is also an avid coffee lover who enjoys searching for new coffee shops where she can pass the time.
We thank Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center for the continued opportunity to mentor legal interns and provide them with real world opportunities to learn. If your law school offers a legal internship or clinical studies program, please reach out to us for availability.
