Mr. Snyder, a Florida native, has always maintained a profound love for science and a commitment to advocacy in conservation and environmental protection, a cornerstone of legal career, bridging the gap between his passion for science and the legal world. His skills and background set Mr. Snyder apart as an attorney who not excels only in navigating the complexities of the law, but science and advocacy as well.
At NSU, Jordan served as vice president of both the Environmental and Land Use Law Society and the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund, as well as serving as the assistant Greenbook editor for the ILSA Journal of International and Comparative Law. Mr. Snyder was later published in the Texas Environmental Law Journal for his article titled “Shark-Nato: A Comparative Analysis of International Shark Conservation to Nationalized Shark Conservation,” showcasing his expertise in environmental law and international legal matters. Further, Mr. Snyder published updated Greenbook International Citations for Palestine, South Africa, and Zimbabwe, demonstrating a commitment to legal scholarship and research.

In addition to the practice of law, Mr. Snyder has actively participated in local grassroots efforts to promote shark conservation within the State of Florida, through an emphasis on the preservation of Florida’s unique shark dive eco-tourism industry, safeguarding the region’s natural resources and supporting the local economy.

Mr. Snyder is a member of the Florida Bar and admitted to practice law in the Federal Southern District of Florida Court. As an attorney, Mr. Snyder has also contributed to the ongoing legal education of his peers, through seminars including “Fin-tastic Beasts And Where to Find Them,” which explored laws and proposed bills impacting Florida’s shark population.
