biography
Howard P. Clark III is a third generation South Floridian and began his legal career at the Broward Public Defender’s Office as an Assistant Public Defender. During his three-year tenor (2019-2022) at the Broward Public Defender’s Office, Mr. Clark worked on hundreds of criminal cases; the majority of the criminal cases being third- and second-degree felonies. Mr. Clark was the lead attorney on several felony criminal jury trials and argued at numerous evidentiary hearings all of which resulted in positive outcomes for his clients.
In addition to his criminal trial work Mr. Clark has a significant amount of experience understanding the complexities of mobile home park/ manufactured housing law as a result of growing up and participating in his family’s successful mobile home park business in South Florida.
Mr. Clark’s passion for standing up for the “little guy” has only grown stronger since his time at the public defender’s office and is reflected in his work on land-use, environmental, and mobile home park related issues.
Mr. Clark was a clinical intern with the firm while he was a law student and the firm welcomes Mr. Clark back as a practicing attorney. Mr. Clark brings his courtroom experience to the firm adding to an already deep bench of civil litigators.
